At Cronos Europa, we are proud to be partners with Think Pink, the organisation dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer prevention, screening, and research. Together, we aim to support women and families affected by this disease and help promote early detection, which is crucial in saving lives.
Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in Belgium during their lifetime, yet shockingly, half of women aged 50 to 69 do not undergo screening. It is the most common cancer worldwide, but with early detection, the five-year survival rate exceeds 90%. These facts highlight why raising awareness and encouraging regular screening are so vital.
For the past years, Cronos Europa has proudly taken part in the 20 km of Brussels marathon alongside Think Pink. This inspiring event brings together thousands of participants, volunteers, and supporters, united in a powerful show of solidarity and hope.
Our colleagues have run wearing the iconic Think Pink t-shirts, helping to energise the event and spread the message that fighting breast cancer is a community effort. It’s an experience that truly underlines the importance of coming together for this cause.
