Following the successful event “Shaping the Future of PolTech in Europe” on 9 December 2024 in the EU Quarter of Brussels, we wanted to keep the dialogue going. The discussions that took place on stage—focused on the intersection of democracy, innovation, and technology—sparked such energy that we decided to take it a step further.
In our Beyond the Panel series, we sat down with key voices from the event. In these brief one-on-one conversations, we explored fresh perspectives on the role of AI, the challenges of digital democracy, and the responsibilities we all share in shaping technology for the public good.
From insights on civic engagement and youth participation to reflections on AI’s potential, and its limitations, each speaker offered a unique take on how we move forward in a fast-changing information landscape.
